this is another fangirl friday pick in the truest sense. the feelings. krasinski. in a suit & tie. the beard. lip-syncing. the song choices & the dancing. i might want to marry john & have a torrid affair with his beard. if you’re gonna lust after a guy who is essentially unemployed, this is who you pick. otherwise, you are doing it wrong.  cue fangirl screaming….

happy fangirl friday!  i’m going nutty over a few things this week - one them being John Green’s book, “The Fault in Our Stars”.  i’ve heard so much buzz about all of his writing, specifically this book, for such a long time. everyone who raved about this was right.  but i needed the exact right circumstances to read it (which i did, and devoured it in just a few hours). the stars aligned, if you will (pun intended). ever had that happen?  the right book found you at the right time? anyway, its a must read…beautiful & heartbreaking. now i just need to decide which of his books I’ll be reading next. suggestions? photography by US of j.

#TyingTheKnope: it is fangirl friday & even if it wasn’t, you are all gonna hear me gush about tv. last night’s Parks & Recreation wedding episode caused such waterworks for me, i should probably be embarassed, but i’m not. i mean it’s clear to anyone who knows me that i am unabashedly obsessed with amy poehler, but c’mon this episode was just perfect tv. it melted my cold, cold heart. so sweet & earnest without making me gag. ron? their vows?! weeping. as the kids say, leslie & ben were my OTP (umm, yes, I typed that) & they got hitched! cupid, your work here is done. call february a success.
